SACE WHITSUNDAYS GAP YEAR PROGRAMME
In the professional or career world, a ‘gap year’ is taken after finishing high school, college or university. During a gap year students engage in travel, cultural awareness programs, internships and study abroad, all for the purpose of improving the students skills, experience, knowledge and maturity. The SACE Gap Year Programme aims to combine all of these aspects into one programme.
Available to both Working Holiday and Student Visa holders, the SACE Gap Year Programme aims to broaden students cultural and professional horizons and enhance their future job and study options. Students will gain international work experience and improve their English language skills. Additionally, SACE Community Connections, which is a part of the Gap Year Programme, allows students to integrate into the local community, experiencing the culture, and meeting new friends.
